Your praises are always on my lips. Since you
performed the November 2002 surgery necessary to remove the
herniated portion of my C5-C6 disk I have had a wonderful recovery.
Waiting to find you (instead of the other doctors) was the best
thing I could have done for myself. I have had a complete recovery
and have a virtually pain free neck these days. My only limitation
is “no roller coasters” and sometimes I even break that one. Some
things are just worth it!

I'm writing to relate my positive experience
during my recent epidurolysis. Again, the level of
professionalism throughout your entire staff is truly remarkable.
Genuine concern, kindness and patience mark every step of the way,
bringing comfort to an otherwise anxious event.

I am a 33 year old woman and I suffered for 3.5 years with headaches
every day - often I was up from 2-4 AM nursing a headache that hurt so
much I would just cry.
I had numbness, tingling,
weakness, and electric shock type pain running down my arms and into
my hands. I was MISERABLE!! After my surgery on 02/09/2004 with Dr.
Reuter I have not had one headache. And my arms are starting to feel
much more normal already!
Dr. Reuter is THE Best!
Best regards to Dr. Reuter AND his STAFF! They are amazing people.
I am looking forward to my possible future procedures for my lumbar and
lower back.

Hi Dr. Reuter, this is simply an update that I think I owe you on my back
surgery that you performed in 1995. I was seeing another prominent
doctor who recommended several surgeries to repair what he said were two
herniated discs. My attorney (the world's greatest) suggested that I
see you. Your diagnosis was different than what the other doctor
wanted to do. The surgery through my stomach area apparently
resulted in a complete success. I can only imagine what might have
been if the other doctor had repaired the disc that was not damaged as
well as the "metal cages" he was going to install for both of them.
Since the operation I have made a COMPLETE recovery. I am 55
years old now and have completed 5 marathons since the surgery and I am in
the best physical condition in my life. I started walking several
miles a day after I felt I had recovered enough from the surgery.
Somehow that lead me to Team in Training with the Leukemia Society and I
started training for walking marathons. I have done four at Disney
World and one in San Diego. I got involved with the Relay for Life
with the American Cancer Society and walked 50 miles during that event.
I have achieved other milestones in my attempt to improve my fitness and
have NEVER had anything more than a mild pulled muscle in my back. I
go to the gym and have no problem lifting weights, spinning or running on
the treadmill. My body fat is 10% and I am just ecstatic with how
good I feel.
You will never know how fortunate and blessed I am. Nothing is
more important than your health and I know how easily I could have lost
all that. I wanted you to know because you seemed genuinely
concerned and I am sure you like to hear about your success stories.
I hope you and your family are well and thanks for my life.

I hurt my back at work on 10/18/2002. I had been to four doctors
before I met Dr. Reuter and his staff. I am under workers compensation and
no one had been able to help me. I had been through the whole route of
X-rays, tests and MRI but no one knew what was really wrong. I was told it
was all in my head and there was nothing they could do but send me to a
pain management specialist and learn to live with the pain. My
son-n-law is a doctor in Illinois and my daughter searched on the internet
until she found Dr. Reuter's website. From the minute I walked into
his office through the procedure on 09/10/2003 and today's first check up,
his practice has it all. The people at physical therapy and his
entire staff are tremendous and caring. When you call with a concern or
whatever you need, they care. I was told by other people at
mediation with workers compensation that Dr. Reuter was a good doctor but
that he could not help me. I had a very large herniation. I also
have several others in my thoracic, cervical and lumbar region. I
cannot tell you the relief I had when I work up in recovery. It was
God's miracle. God has given this doctor the skills to help people
and he truly cares about you. No matter what insurance you have or
if you have workers compensation, look no further for a doctor to help you
if you have a bad back injury. I do know I will go to no one else
and that I had wasted ten months in a lot of pain before Dr. Reuter was
allowed to help me. Workers compensation withheld permission for
three months but I got an attorney and I got the procedure approved.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am 58 years old and I know
that I will always have some pain but nothing like I experienced for so
long. God bless you to help others for a very long time.

I
just wanted to let you know that after my last visit a few months back,
S/P ACD C4-5 in late March 2003, I am doing so much better!!!
We had discussed at 2 weeks post op either a SNRB, watch and wait, or
fuse it. I am so glad I waited. My arm pain bilaterally is 70% resolved at
this time. I still have neck pain, but I expected that. I am back to work
20 hours a week (medical office) and best of all, I have decreased my
opiate use by 65%!!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Please add this to my chart. I guess I should schedule a f/u, but since I
am doing well, I am trying not to focus on my neck, if you know what I
mean. My
biggest regret is that I did not find Dr Reuter BEFORE my C5-6 fusion. My
outcome may have been completely different.

I am currently 6 weeks post op for Anterior Cervical
Discectomy with Laser Assisted Endoscopy at level C6-7. Dr. Reuter
performed my surgery. I cannot describe how grateful and how blessed I
feel that Dr. Reuter was my surgeon. Dr. Reuter is the most
compassionate, understanding, thoughtful, and fully informed surgeon I
have ever met. His entire staff at Advanced Orthopedics are some of the
most kind, understanding, and helpful people I have ever known. I would
also like to thank Physician Assistant Earnest E. Kepler. He took extra special time with me and was willing to
answer any and all questions I had regarding my surgery. He was
extremely kind and patient with me. The entire staff at Lake Worth
Surgical Center where I had my surgery were just as wonderful, kind, and
compassionate as the staff at Dr. Reuter's office. I was in enormous pain
when I first came to see Dr. Reuter and it was truly a blessing to be in
the care of such wonderful and caring people. I will recommend Dr. Reuter
to anyone that I know. Words cannot express how grateful I am that Dr.
Reuter was my surgeon. It was a privilege to be one of his patients.
